POC(Proof OF Concept) of Smart Livestock Technology for Social Enterprise Has Begun with ULikeKorea
(June, 2021) Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation(GNGIF) has been developing a smart livestock business in Paraguay with uLikeKorea(ULK), a Korean venture which has been carrying on development of the smart livestock technology and has successfully adopted its products and services in countries such as Japan, United States and Denmark.
Buenos Negocios S.A. (BN), a Paraguayan social enterprise raising approximately 100 cows has succeeded in injection of the 50 bio-capsules for the cows, which are gathering data and information of the cows and transmitting them to the AI(Artificial Intelligence) data center which analyzes the patterns of the data and diagnoses diseases in advance of the visual detection by veterinarian. This technology is also managing the efficiency of the insemination work by telling the manager of the farm the most optimized point of time for the insemination. We believe that the level of the raw milk production and the operation efficiency of the farm will be improved significantly with the big data analysis.
In the second half, GNGIF jointly with BN is planning to establish a Joint Venture with ULK in order to develop the local smart livestock market and also expand the business to the other South American countries nearby Paraguay.
[IMPLEMENTATION OF LIVECARE SERVICE]
With the implementation of LiveCare service, GNGIF expects to solve major problem of BN, which is to increase in milk production through efficient farm operation. When it comes to the ‘Social Impact’, GNGIF also expects to improve the health of cattle, increase farm productivity, and consequently improve the quality of life of the vulnerable social group.
